Pepper Pike and its surrounding area is brimming with opportunities to indulge your taste for sports and recreation.

The Cleveland area is ringed by the lovely Metroparks system. And the South Chagrin Reservation portion of the parks, just a short drive from Pepper Pike, is full of scenic hiking trails, outdoor sculptures, a polo field, lodge and even an arboretum.

The Orange Community Athletic Association, meanwhile, fields athletic programs for children from pre-kindergarten through grade six. They range from soccer clinics and soccer leagues to football clinics and flag and tackle football teams. There’s girls softball and even T-ball and parents’ pitch baseball. Volleyball and field hockey instruction and competition, as well as cheerleading camps are also among the offerings.

And if professional sports is more to your liking, Pepper Pike of course benefits from being part of the Cleveland area, which boasts three major league teams, the NBA Cavaliers, the NFL Browns and Major League Baseball’s Indians. Just an hour’s drive to the south, you can even visit a certified sports shrine, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, in Canton.
